Financial Planning Analyst
Are you a financial planning analyst looking for your next challenge? Are you looking to work for a specialty finance firm, focused on purchasing and liquidating distressed receivables? Reporting to the head of finance, you will be responsible for the internal reporting of the groups financial performance and consolidating the results of the various business lines across multiple trading entities and jurisdictions (UK, Spain, Italy and Luxembourg). You will also be responsible for the group consolidated budget process, preparation of the budgets, tracking actual performance against budgets, identifying KPIs and providing useful analysis to the senior executive team. You will be responsible for analysis of financial and commercial performance of the business lines, including identifying problem areas, liaising with business area owners and making recommendations for financial and operational improvements. Your role will be varied, challenging and allow you regular exposure to the Chief Finance Officer as well as various other stakeholders.
To be considered for this new role (July 2017) you must possess strong skills in business plan modelling and analysis, reporting and coordinating cross-functional team projects. You must be ACA or ACCA qualified with at least 3 years post qualification experience. You must also have a 2i degree or higher in a finance related subject from a red brick University. You must have relevant sector experience with an active interest in financial markets, including understanding of debt and other securities instruments. You must also have sound time management skills to assist in identifying, establishing, and executing against related priorities. You may also be required to travel to Europe (Spain) from time to time.
