Field Sales Representative
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join an expanding business based in Wimbledon, you'll be part of a successful sales team working in a Field based role looking after the surrounding area.
My client is now in its 30th year, its a dynamic company, producing a portfolio of high quality exhibitions, magazines and websites. Their current portfolio consists of exhibitions, publications and websites for business, recruitment and human resources, including market-leading products in franchising, HR learning, graduate and engineering recruitment.
The duties of the role involve the following:
Identify prospective clients through your own targeted research
Develop and maintain a continuous pipeline of leads to generate new business opportunities through a consultative approach
Obtain appointments and meet face to face with prospects and clients
Building quality relationships with decision makers to secure stand, sponsorship and advertising revenues
Professional, articulate, follow up of all customer contact to nurture ongoing and future business opportunities
Account management to effectively promote company services to meet and exceed client requirements
Plan and prioritise your own sales activities to exceed all personal, team and business targets
Attending our events, usually Friday and Saturday, to support the on-site logistics and acting as a representative
The suitable candidate must have the following:
- Degree education and/or relevant job-related experience
- Proven track record in consultative B2B field sales
- Excellent telephone, presentation and communication skills
- Highly organised, a strong team player and good problem solver
- Should live less than an hour from our Wimbledon office
This is a permanent role based in Wimbledon however you'll be looking after a region quite locally.
£28k - £32k basic dependant on experience, uncapped bonus & Company car.
