Job Title: Paraplanner

Location: Poole, Dorset

Salary: £25,000 up to £30,000

My client is a long-established IFA practice in Poole, who due to current work load are looking for an IFA Administrator to join the team

My Client is an extremely well-established financial practice who deals with all areas of wealth management they are now looking for an experienced Level 4 Paraplanner they have a number of branches across the UK and are renowned for developing and progressing there staff in to advanced roles

You will be responsible for assisting the IFA's with technical and administrative duties for a range of products and provide specialist support for investments and pension clients

Duties will Include:

Obtaining valuations of existing investment portfolios

Preparing asset allocation reports and files for meetings as well as recommendation reports

Dealing with platforms and product providers to obtain information about existing and potential investments

Processing transactions via platforms for discretionary and advisory clients

Researching pension transfers, retirement options, life assurance and income protection

Making tax calculations to establish correct advice is being given where appropriate

Occasional attendance at client meetings, where detailed analysis has been prepared

Skills and Experience required:

Qualified to level 4 is desirable but not essential

Previous experience within an IFA practice and Paraplanning is essential

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

FCA understanding of regulations and products, and their practical application
