The company: Professional insurance brokers based in Bristol.
The role: Control of the entire finance function, including bank, credit control and accounts payable. Various regular reporting to the board and attendance at monthly sales meetings Assistance with the company's FSA responsibilities including client money rules and annual client money audit, file reviews, various reporting requirements including 6 monthly online Assistance with various projects such as revisit client money calculation, investigate and deliver change in accounts software
Reporting to: The Board
Responsibilities: Overall running of the Finance department and assistance with the HR department and FCA responsibilities
Key skills: Diligence, high attention to detail, good communicator, working knowledge of Sage Line 50 and Excel, hands-on, experience of running a finance department within SME, self motivator, AAT qualified as a minimum, ideally ACCA, ACA or CIMA, some knowledge of HR and FCA regulation is an advantage, but not necessary
Working hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5.15pm with an hour for lunch Benefits: 25 days holiday p.a., pension, staff insurances
