JOB DESCRIPTION
Directly responsible for managing the operation of the Kitchen and a team of staff as well as the production, preparation and quality of all food for the Bar & Restaurant.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES
• Ensure the efficient and smooth running of the Kitchen.
• Promote and maintain good working relationships throughout the Kitchen Team.
• Manage the day-to-day activities of the team including the allocation of rotas, duties and specific tasks.
• Manage and control daily food costs to ensure that food offering is achieved within budgetary limits.
• Ensure that an effective stock rotation procedure is adhered to at all times.
• Demonstrate and maintain high standards of cooking to meet and exceed expectations.
• Devise and plan menus for all customers including Functions and Events.

KEY SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
• Must have City & Guilds – 706-1/2 or equivalent or apprenticeship, and Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• A passion for high quality food and food service.
• A highly motivated leader, able to demonstrate strong organisational and management skills.
• Experience in a similar high volume, fast paced environment, with experience in Function & Events.
• Keen to engage in Innovative ideas for new business or improved methods of working.
