An exciting opportunity has arisen for a project manager, working for a global bank, this is a great opportunity to get involved with an expanding finance team with fantastic progression opportunities.

Project Manager (Financial Crime & Risk):

The project manager will be responsible for all aspects of driving sustainable growth, Engaging with colleagues to offer commercially viable, sustainable proposals aligned to the strategy given.

Project Management. Working with stakeholders to agree project/programme strategy and objectives. Creating detailed project and programme plans taking into account time and resource constraints.

Provide solutions and added value for long term customer satisfaction and enduring relationships.

Managing Risk Responsibly. Drives implementation of best practice in risk policies and governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

* Risk & Issue Management. Anticipates risks/ issues/dependencies that are not easily evident and helps others to recognise them.

* Scale of Governance, Methodology or Tooling - PMO Lead drives the definition, implementation and monitoring of Business Change Implementation Governance, Methodology and Tooling globally.

* Diversity of Stakeholder Management - The PMO Lead must devise a stakeholder management strategy to perform effective stakeholder management for a range of people ranging from Level 3 Senior Executives through to Level 6 Project Managers, PMO Specialists and 3rd Party Partners.

* The role holder will typically manage upto 8 individual contributors.

* This will be achieved by consistently displaying the behaviours that form part of the HSBC Values and culture and adhering to HSBC risk policies and procedures, including notification and escalation of any concerns and taking required action in relation to points raised by audit and/or external regulators.

* Impact assessment of queries/complaints identified by in country teams and communicating assessment.

This Project manager role is great for someone with good Financial risk & crime knowledge. Someone who is confident, enthusiastic, team player, goal and results driven and has experience in the banking industry.
