Education Sales Consultant

The role:

You will be engaging with key decision makers including Head-teachers, school Governors, Teachers and individuals at Primary and secondary schools. This will involve talking to them to understand the skills shortages in their schools and how our products and services can support them in addressing their needs and raising children's attainment. Our services include delivering courses from L2 - L5 training in Health & Social Care, Support for Teaching & Learning in Schools, Early Years Educator, Education and Training QTLS and QTS

.SCCD is well established within the Education sector and schools/education stakeholders will already be aware of our name.

This role will involve a consultative sales approach. Exploring the needs of the schools and individuals then linking them to relevant courses that can help the school or individual to improve the learning services available to their students, teachers and parents.

You will need good organisational skills and self-motivation is essential. You will have access to a database of contacts at secondary and Primary schools in several boroughs of London. You will speak to them on the phone and face to face to discuss the features and benefits of our services offered and how they can support their needs.


Any experience of selling within the education sector or local authorities would be beneficial although not essential as personality is key to the success of this role. You don't need any prior experience in the Education sector, although SCCD do like to hire people who have a genuine interest in this sector.

Full training provided with the opportunity to shadow experienced colleagues in order to gain knowledge.

Hours: Mon - Fri, 37.5 hours per week. Some flexibility due travel.

Salary: £18,000 - £21,000 per annum OTE up to £32,000. +Generous benefits.
