Our client is a market leading Foodservice Wholesale distributor responsible for supplying over 60,000 customers throughout the UK across multiple channels that range from hotel chains, restaurant chains through to local authorities, Education, NHS trusts and defence contractors as well as many independent operators in the hospitality industry.
As a field based Business Manager, you will be covering the Central Newcastle region. You will be responsible for developing sales opportunities with existing accounts by analysing territory sales data, minimising order losses and identifying cross-selling and up selling opportunities. In addition, you will identify and develop profitable business with new accounts to increase market share within the region.
You will sell to a wide range of businesses ranging from independent cafés, restaurants, pubs, clubs, boutique hotels through to schools, colleges, universities and hospitals. The points of contact level will vary hugely from Head Chefs, Catering Managers, Business Owners and Procurement Managers.
- Experience within the food industry is desirable
- Excellent selling skills with a proven ability to regularly exceed sales targets

- Strong communication skills at all levels
- Excellent team player, due-diligent, career-minded and proactive
£27,000 basic salary, £10,000 OTE, Co. Car, Laptop, Mobile, Pension, healthcare and 25 days holiday (+ bank holidays)
