Our client is a mar-tech company based in London, which has enjoyed year-on-year growth since creation. With exciting plans for 2018/19, they are now seeking to expand across their business operations and have a newly created role for an Senior Partnerships Manager within their Owned & Operated Network division. This role is a number 2 role to the CEO of this division.

A minimum of 5-8 years online marketing expertise, with some Tier One corporate experience along with a deep knowledge of the industry sector. This exciting new opportunity is for someone who loves what they do and is hungry, passionate, highly energetic with amazing interpersonal skills.


• Identify new opportunities with publisher networks, presenting our client’s success story and ecosystem as a credible, compelling partner that can fully represent their product set

• Build out the commercial structure of each partnership such that potential margin economics can be achieved, flexing the full range of business models available

• Create solid and long term relationships with partners, both existing and new, that build confidence, encourage trust and ensure transparency in our service arrangements

• Successfully and confidently articulate and then negotiate our terms to key decision makers, creating flexible solutions that demonstrate a strong understanding of the online ecosystem and deliver a successful commercial relationship, all driven by focused KPIs

• Manage implementation through the existing Account Team, then nurture, coach, and grow that team in line with our client’s people and performance management principles

• Work closely with other internal teams, particularly in Tech, Optimization and Marketing Services, to ensure alignment in the communication of our evolving propositions, building compelling collateral that supports the process of negotiation

• Represent the company and our services at appropriate networking and industry events, demonstrating knowledge and likeability in equal measure

• Stay up-to-date with industry and market movements, trends, companies and opportunities

• Extensive travel Criteria:

• Preferably you are an existing Partnership Manager working in the affiliate marketing space looking for your next step in management

• Outstanding commercial acumen and an air of authority

• Fully understand partner side traffic quality controls and conversion optimization metrics

• Complete knowledge of traffic acquisition sources and commercial models (CPC, CPL, CPA, Click to Call etc.) and price points - able to flex the right solution in each instance

• Deep understanding of the affiliate marketing space, preferably in a global market context

• Demonstrate capability to impact tier 1 conversations

• Hold a personal network of candidate tier 1 and tier 2 revenue generation contacts and networks

• Deep (and semi-technical) knowledge of integration processes within online publishing

• Analytical mind; both in terms of customer data/insight and understanding commercial viability

• Strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills

• Passionate, proactive and enthusiastic approach

• Advanced skills in spreadsheet modelling to assess partner commercials

• Experience of (International) team management, large brands, content marketing and online video is desirable
