We are recruiting to a Finance Manager role on behalf of a North-West London based academy you will be responsible for the day to day financial management of the academy ensuring compliance is adhered to, production of financial and management accounts and ensuring the academy make sound financial, strategic and commercial decisions following correct procedures and processes.
You will produce periodic management performance reports, presenting them and looking at appropriate and effective follow up action to improve the academies performance. Completing monthly management reporting, ensuring all balance sheet accounts (including bank reconcililations) are reconciled monthly, timely production and issue of financial reports, cash flow forecasts and returns, preparation of the annual budget and forecasts.
Other duties include responsibility for financial transactions, safekeeping and banking of all monies, co-ordinating the purchase of supplies and goods ensuring the academy obtains best value, negotiating, managing and monitoring contracts, tenders and agreements and co-ordinating the work of the academies Finance Office staff.
This is a full time permanent all year-round position paying £31,137 to £40,785 per annum dependent on experience.
It is essential you hold experience of working on financial procedures budget monitoring, purchase ledger, accounts receivable and cash handling within an education based finance post. You must be a part or fully qualified Accountant.
