National Account Manager (Regional pub groups) - Sky Business

Sky Business is the business-to-business division of Sky, Europe's leading entertainment company. We grow by enabling our customers to create great entertainment experiences for millions of people. We provide commercial customers in the UK and Ireland with comprehensive multichannel television and WiFi services across a wide variety of businesses. These include pubs, sports clubs, bookmakers, hotels, offices, gyms, shops, care homes, golf clubs and oil rigs. Our bread and butter is Sky Sports content to licensed premises, but entertainment content, movies and connectivity are equally as important in hotels and other exciting growing sectors.

This role sits within our Sales Force team at Sky Business and you are responsible for the development of the defined account portfolio within Sky Business, including maintaining well established client relationships and maximising the licensed pub group (pubs) business opportunities through targeting potential new customers.

Job Purpose

  • Revenue Growth: Deliver revenue growth across your portfolio or regional account pub group customers by:

Account management of your existing account base. Look to secure existing revenues and uncover new opportunities to grow revenues & subscriptions across Sky’s full product suite, TV & connectivity.

  • Relationships:
  • Develop strong "partnership" relationships with your key account base at senior / decision maker level.
  • b. Develop and nurture great internal relationships with Marketing, Operations, group admin and the wider Sky business team to ensure we are supporting our customer base.
  • Sector Knowledge: demonstrate sector knowledge and expertise in order to confidently deliver a growth sales strategy across the Regional pub sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the creation and overall execution of the regional group’s growth plan.
  • Work effectively across wider Sky business team including Marketing, Operations, Finance and more.
  • To have an innovative and creative approach.
  • Strong "partnership" relationship at senior levels within all of your groups.
