Based in our Bristol head office, our Category Insight Analyst role is a permanent full-time position and comes with a salary up to £35,000 pa, alongside a benefits package designed to nurture your wellbeing and personal development.

About the Category Insight Analyst role
You’ll be responsible for delivering insights from key customer data and market data, to maximise the performance of our brand and identify key insights that will unlock further growth opportunities. It’s an exciting time for Pukka and you’ll become the expert in market, consumer and competitor intelligence for Tea in key international markets outside the UK, and for Supplements globally.
You’ll be analysing regular and ad hoc market data in key markets, helping to build a better understanding of the size of the opportunity, and delivering insightful interpretation of lots of different data sources for use by our Sales and Marketing teams. You’ll analyse range and space allocation and make recommendations to improve both Pukka and the retailer's category performance, and monitor key account performance through weekly EPOS sales trackers, and share insights with the team. You’ll provide ad hoc market and competitor analysis/insight to support the marketing team, particularly in NPD development.
You’ll have experience of delivering insights in a retail, marketing or research agency role within an FMCG/Grocery environment and be degree qualified with strong mathematical skills. Experience of analysis and insight across international markets is preferred.
Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel and PowerPoint, you’ll have the ability to create compelling data based commercial arguments, combining with wider consumer and market understanding. You’ll have a resourcefulness to seek out new and improved sources of insight, be able to pull insight from varied data sources, and be able to make well considered recommendations. A passion for understanding and analysing data from multiple sources and with differing data quality is essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
