This exciting opportunity is split into two phases. The first Phase covers the Branch Network and the second Phase covers the Mortgage Contact Centre.

Role Summary

Through completion of Level 3 Senior Financial Services Customer Adviser Apprenticeship standard, followed by the Level 3 Mortgage Adviser Apprenticeship Standard, you will be learn to provide expert customer service, deliver commercial results and gain a thorough understanding of financial services regulation surrounding the provision of regulated Mortgage advice.

Phase 1 - Branch Network:
Through on the job and provider training you will attain and then demonstrate competence in the following accountabilities:

Engage with customers to deliver positive customer outcomes which add value for the customer and the Group
Develop competency in till operation, cash management, branch administration, servicing, balancing and cash replenishment.
Take personal ownership and involvement to support the Society in playing a key part in the community.

Phase 2 - Mortgage Contact Centre
Through on the job and provider training you will attain and then demonstrate competence in the following accountabilities:

Provide efficient Call handling to customers and intermediary channel
To engage customers and Brokers in conversations to understand their needs and provide solutions.
To obtain and maintain a working knowledge of the mortgage products and processes.
To be fully acquainted with relevant policies and procedures and ensure that they are followed at all times, specifically the Group’s Lending Policy.

Skills and Experience

5 GCSE’s (Grade A-C) is essential; you should also have no previous regulated FS qualifications.
Competence with Microsoft Office, the ability to manage a high volume workload and multi-task effectively is essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also a must.
