My Client is a Tier 1 bank who are looking for an individual to come in and head up Impairment & Capital Forecasting activities on three portfolio streams.

They are looking for an experienced professional who having worked within the IFRS9 regime can provide oversight and drive this migration in addition to maintaining the standards of BAU activities. Whilst this role is primarily focused on the change aspects of IFRS9 you will be required to support a large team of VP's who will be focused on BAU IFRS9, to ensure consistent standard in line with policy.

You will have ownership over three lines of portfolio's spread across the retail and corporate, and SME offerings, and will be reporting directly into the CRO on a daily basis.

Role Responsibilities:

* Manage all aspects of Impairment and Capital reporting and forecasting
* Manage the migration of IFRS9
* Drive Stress Testing execution, and facilitate the correct reporting and documentation
* Contributing to setting credit policies and strategies
* Business user of Impairment models
* Support CRO's to meet regulatory targets
* Accountability for ensuring governance, controls, credit risk frameworks are adhered to

Key requirements:

* 5+ years within an impairment and capital banking environment
* SAS knowledge, though will not be expected to code
* Prior work on IFRS9
* understanding of all aspects of Impairment and capital forecasting and planning
* Prior experience within impairment or credit risk modelling would be preferable
