Job Title: Luxury Furniture Showroom Manager

Location: Clerkenwell, London

Salary: £29,000 - £34,000 base plus generous yearly bonus

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.30pm

Due to accelerated growth, a fantastic and rare opportunity has become available for a Showroom Manager to join a leading furniture manufacturer with a thriving business. Based in Clerkenwell, London, the successful Showroom Manager will be working 40 hours per week, earning a good basic salary per annum plus a generous bonus structure including a range of excellent benefits. Responsibilities and Accountabilities

As a Showroom Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the showroom, managing all visitors to the showroom and working closely with account managers. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the successful Showroom Manager’s core responsibilities and duties will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Promoting sales by demonstrating samples to customers where possible

  • Working with sales and marketing to host client events and entertaining

  • Gathering of information after each client visit and reporting back to the relevant sales persons

  • Daily key holder responsibilities

  • Managing the showroom diary and recording all visits

  • Manage regular showroom sample replacement process

  • Maintaining professional and quality service by establishing and enforcing organisation standards

  • Maintaining inventory of merchandise and catering requirements to determine inventory levels and anticipate customer demand

Key Performance Indicators

  • Ensure that a minimum of 8 clients (companies) visit the showroom every day 2. For every visit relevant information is gathered, recorded and reported to the relevant sales person:

  • Experience in entertaining high profile clients

  • Experiencing in cross selling and upselling

  • Event management experience

  • Budget management

  • Must be prepared to manage and host regular showroom events (with support from the Marketing Dept.)

  • Experience and passion for commercial interior design and current trends in this sector

  • Supplier relationship management (facilities of the building)

  • On occasion, there will be requirements to work additional hours when we hold events seminars in the showroom out of normal working hours.
