An opportunity to join a financial services team in Clifton who provide investment advice and arranges and effects transactions across a range of financial vehicles, including investments, pensions and life assurance has arisen for a Financial Planning Administrator.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a friendly, vibrant team where you will gain good exposure to the market and the opportunity to take financial qualifications.

You should demonstrate high inter-personnel and organisation skills and ideally hold experience in the corporate market dealing with group personal pensions and risk benefits as you will be offering a first class administrative service to their corporate clients and provide support to their Corporate Consultant and Employee Benefits Specialist.

Day to Day Administration

Providing assistance to team members for day to day administrative tasks for all clients
including:
Drafting letters & writing emails
Answering and dealing with telephone enquiries
Follow up of all administration items
Updating records
Writing administration procedures
Maintaining and developing records on Back Office software
Distributing incoming post for the team and franking outgoing post
Where applicable, point of contact for clients in respect of administrative matters.

Regular Administration


For individual clients:

Preparing valuations for investment portfolios
Co-ordinating the purchase and sale of investments
Carrying out basic taxation calculations
Dealing with death claims
Dealing with administrative matters following meetings
For contract based corporate clients:
Co-ordinating member fund switches
Assisting with non-advised transfer analysis
Dealing with administrative matters following meetings
Processing scheme renewals and checking and issuing accounts
Assistance with preparation of data for scheme reviews
General administration:
Assisting with the preparation of fee schedules
Managing individual projects
Adviser Support
Setting up client meetings
Controlling and updating the meeting schedule register
Preparation of material for client meetings and presentations
Additional Responsibilities
Preparation and taking minutes for internal meetings
Co-ordinating monthly team updates to be posted on the company intranet
