Role Description

121 Social Care are looking for 2 Service Manager’s For Childrens Residential Homes, supporting Young People with Learning Disabilities.

Our 2 opportunities differ greatly but both are in children’s short break services.

The opportunities are in an established children’s short breaks service near to the Wolverhampton Area.

You will be responsible for management of the Registered Children’s Home. This is a vital role as the people who visit this service really rely on us. We pride ourselves in the quality of service we provide and ensuring that we are always looking to improve.

The second opportunity is helping to create our new service, a service dedicated to young people who have a learning disability. This opportunity requires someone (not creative flare, but not sure what!) and who is motivated to make the best service possible.

Due to the requirements of the service’s you MUST be able to fulfil the following;

Register as a Manager of Childrens Home with Ofsted,

Have at least one years management experience in a care setting,

Have worked for at least 2 years in the last 5 with children/young people.

Hold a Level 5 in leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (Or Equivalent).
