About the Learning Mentor Role
This Maths Teaching Assistant role involves you joining the school in a general role, not assigned to any particular class within the Maths department. This Maths Teaching Assistant position involves providing help to classes of all levels and abilities and in constant communication with the SLT. School Direct placements are usually on offer towards the end of the year for those graduates who show promise as teachers and would relish the chance to carry on learning and developing at the school. The school recognises that academic learning, though important, is not everything and would seriously welcome applications from candidates interested in joining or leading an extracurricular club or society. You shall be given the chance to lead small intervention classes designed to support pupils who struggle in the classroom.
