Support Workers in Coventry

Support Worker Description:
Key Transitions Ltd (KTL) is looking to recruit a number of support workers to engage with young people leaving the care system in the area of Coventry.
The workers will be key influencers to support and mentor the service users through the transitional period as they integrate into society and independence. You will be providing dedicated support to young people living within their own accommodation.

The ideal candidate will have significant proven experience of working with young people with challenging behaviour leaving care, and also be willing to utilise their experience and knowledge to benefit the move on process of the young person leaving care.

Support Requirements:

- Car driver (business insurance required)
- Willingness to travel
- Must be able to work unsociable hours as required to include Bank Holidays and weekends
- Commitment to the role and consistency of care
- NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care in Child Care or equivalent
- Excellent Communication and report writing skills
- Significant experience and knowledge of dealing with safeguarding issues and procedures
- Eligibility to work in the UK without work permit or visa restrictions
- Commitment to the safe care and well-being of vulnerable young people


- NVQ Level 3 Childcare or equivalent degree.
- Health & Social Care NVQ Child Care Level 4


- £8.00 / Per Hour + possible mileage
