Your new company
This technology driven company are seeking an addition mobile developer to join their Agile delivery team based in Guildford. The company have a strong pipeline of project work and due to sustained growth are now in a position to grow their core team.
This position is open to a mid-level or junior developer providing they can evidence working native applications.
Your new role
This is predominantly a hands on position working with modern technologies for a Tier 1 global financial client. You'll be responsible for the design, build and running of a suite of bespoke applications to ensure the client stays ahead of the curve for payment solutions. The role extends further and you will have the opportunity to work on other projects looking at emerging concepts like beacon technology and big data.
It is a challenging environment and an eye opener as developers have real autonomy and control over workloads. The tech you work on will reach millions of users and be utilised by household industry leading organisations. As the company grows a team lead position is realistic but your passion now should remain with mastering Android development.
Now approaching 15 years in business my client have grown cover the entire software spectrum from front and back end, to cross platform and native applications.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you will have published native Android applications on the Google Play Store and will be proficient working with the Android SDK and Android Studio.
You will need at least 18 months commercial development experience with a modern OO language.
You'll be expected to follow software best practice including Unit Testing, GIT and should be passionate about the Android community and different application flavours.
