Our client is a leading automotive tier one supplier who works with some of the most prestigious names in the industry. Due to growth, they have created a new position for an IT Systems Controller/Senior Systems Analyst.

The main purpose of the role is to establish, streamline, manage and ensure optimum usage of their EDI and ERP systems. The company's main business is manufacturing components for automotive OEM's which are delivered on a Just In Time/Sequenced basis, so this role is paramount in ensuring that deliveries are not disrupted due to failure of the IT infrastructure or business systems.

Key Responsibilities include:

* Assist with the introduction of new systems and processes, working closely with the IT & Business Systems Manager and Systems Developer to ensure a robust and scalable solution for the business.
* To respond to all ERP and EDI concerns, in a timely manner with a view to keep the business operating in both the short and long term.
* Working with third party providers to ensure identified issues are resolved in the best interest of the business.
* Work with all areas of the business to establish rules around company static data, to ensure smooth running of business operations.
* Ensure the tools are available to support the Business Systems Analyst in reviewing date integrity based on rules around company static data.
* Manage/lead a Systems Analyst as a direct report.

The successful candidate will have a number of years proven experience leading the development of IT/business systems within a manufacturing environment. You will be familiar with ERP systems and ideally, but not essentially, EDI. You will be able to demonstrate taking the lead on business critical issue resolution. You should also have supervisory/team leader/management experience as this role will manage one Systems Analyst.

Additional attributes will include excellent communication skills (ability to communicate at all levels internally and on occasions with clients); strength of character, someone who can own the ERP and other business systems, creating and establishing the rules of system and ensuring correct usage; can adapt to a business that is frequently changing and growing; tenacious and not afraid to push back and drive change.

This is a permanent opportunity within a growing automotive supplier offering excellent career prospects for the right candidate. It is also an urgent vacancy so please forward your CV for immediate feedback and interview
