Geotechnical Engineer required to strengthen an established team situated in Exeter work on a diverse range of projects including rail, highway, utilities, commercial and residential schemes.
You will be responsible for assisting the Principal within the Geotechnical design team to certify compliance with all the relevant technical standards and to ensure projects are completed within the time frame.

Candidates must be technically strong within Geotechnical designs of either, slope stability, shallow foundations, deep excavations, earthworks, heavy piled foundations and embedded retaining walls, including the application of 2-D and 3-D numerical modelling (preferred). There are excellent opportunities for career progression whilst learning how to manage projects from start to completion.

Key requirements
* A minimum of 2 years and proven work within the UK or to the EU7
* BSc, BEng, MEng or MSC in Geotechnical/Geological science with a relation to Civil Engineering or Geotechnics.
* Experience within Phase I, II site Investigations and interpretive reports.
* Experience designing deep/shallow foundations, retaining walls, slope stability or retaining structures.
* Computer literate and a professional knowledge of either AutoCad, Slope's, OASYS, Wallop, Flac 2 3D, GEO5 and Plaxis
