247 Professional Health are currently recruiting for Mental Health Support Workers in Bolton.

This role is ideal for experienced mental health support workers wanting either full time flexible work or just 1 or 2 shifts a week. You can change when you are available to work every week in mental health hospitals and rehabilitation services across the area.

We Require:

6 months experience in the role of support worker within the last 5 years in the UK
Proof of right to work in the UK
Experience working within a challenging environment and willingness to learn pro-active approaches for managing violence and aggression
As a 247 Professional Health Support Worker, you will be working in some of the biggest mental health services as part of a dedicated, professional and friendly team in busy and demanding environment; so it is essential you are well organised and able to learn quickly.

The role will entail working on acute inpatient assessment and treatment service for people with learning disabilities and additional needs. Support young people aged 16 to 18 in transition from children’s services, who are already in the care of learning disabilities consultant. This is assessed on a case by case basis. Person centred-care is delivered by a multidisciplinary team including psychiatry, nursing, psychology, speech and language and occupational therapy. You will be caring and attentive with the skills to build strong and trusting relationships with people.
