We have an exciting opportunity to work for growing company based near to Kettering . They are looking for an Accounts Clerk reporting to the Financial Controller. They are looking for an ambitious, energetic, and a motivated self-starter who is comfortable working in a dynamic and fast moving corporate environment.

Your main duties will include:

* Processing of sales invoices and cash sheets
* Month end Debtor Ledger close off
* Assertive calling to all customers to chase up outstanding debts
* Setting up of new customer accounts and monitoring customer credit limits
* Petty cash payments and reconciliation of petty cash on a monthly basis
* Review and reconcile service engineer expenses to receipts
* Preparation of weekly timesheets for payroll processing
* Matching invoices to purchase orders
* Entering supplier invoices in Purchase Ledger
* Month end Creditor Ledger close off to include:
* Production of monthly aged creditors listing
* Supplier payments
* Liaising with other departments and suppliers to resolve queries
* Prepare any financial data as requested on an ad hoc basis
* General office duties within the Finance Department
* Reception duties

You will have the below experience/skills:

* Previous experience in a similar role
* Be able to work on their own initiative
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook
* Ability to plan and prioritize work activities and use time efficiently
* High attention to detail
