My client is an established global leading defence organisation services organisation that provides bespoke products and solutions to their impressive portfolio of global customers. Due to expansion across the organisation my client is actively seeking an experienced Project Manager to assist with delivering multiple projects across multiple work-streams.
Your new role
Project Manager - As an experienced Project Manager you will be responsible for the day to day management, performance and reporting of all allocated projects and tasks.
As an internal facing Project Manager you will be tasked with delivering small - medium sized projects circa £200,000 - £1,000,000 through the full project life cycle. As part of the expanding PMO team you will work on a broad range of Business Change and Information Technology projects that will varying in complexity.
What you'll need to succeed
As the successful candidate you will be educated to degree standard and hold a Prince 2 accreditation, an MSP accreditation is highly desirable. You will be able to demonstrable your current/ previous experience of working in a fast paced organisation to deliver IT and Business Change Projects. Able to manage aspects of projects such as risk, quality, budget, scope and resources.
Excellent communication skills will play a key part of your role as you will be communicating with 3rd party vendors, managing remote teams, communicating and influencing Senior stake holders with diplomacy.
Experience of identifying and managing key stake holders and leading colleges through change.
