Bid Coordinator role, Sevenoaks, up to £27,000 pro rata, 9 month FTC for a construction consultancy

This reputable construction consultancy based near Sevenoaks that specialise in predominantly public sector based design, procurement, maintenance and management of buildings are looking for a Bid Coordinator to join their busy team.
Your new role
You will be working alongside the senior management team contributing significantly to marketing the business and generating new business. You will be involved in identifying and following up potential leads via the internal database and external sources, as well as implementing strategic objectives to target specific market sectors. You will be required to liaise with the construction team to produce high quality PQQ, tenders and other bids to win business. You will be required to produce bids for other UK offices and ensure these are in line with branding and sell the business to full potential. Database maintenance, bid success reports and other ad-hoc administrative duties will also be included.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working with in a similar bid coordination role will get you off to a flying start in your new role. The ideal candidate would have a construction consultancy background, however anyone with a strong construction knowledge would also be considered. You must be proficient on Microsoft Office packages and have an understanding of bid writing. It is essential you are confident, professional and have an excellent telephone manner, as this role with involve liaising directly with clients over the phone and via email. This role is about winning new and creating repeat business, so you must have an interest in marketing and business development.
What you'll get in return
You will be offered a salary of up to £27,000 pro rata for a 9 month FTC. You will be working in beautiful offices with on-site parking available. You will be required to work 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday and receive 25 days pro rata annual leave.
