Intermediate Quantity Surveyor - Sevenoaks, Kent - Top Tier Rail Main Contractor!

My client, one of the largest civil engineering contractors in the country who are arguably one of the busiest are currently looking for a vibrant and proactive Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team for their South Region in Kent.

You will join a dynamic team of surveyors, based in Kent, where there is guaranteed work for at least the next 5/6 years. This is an ideal opportunity to be involved in a fast moving and challenging project, with great progression opportunities for the right person. There is a great, family feel environment that encourages and supports personal development, with both RICS and ICES opportunities available.

The Role:

Employed as an Intermediate quantity surveyor, your duties will include:

* Cost forecasting
* Cost and Value Reconciliation
* General subcontract administration
* Assisting sub-project teams with day-to-day commercial activities including resolution of subcontract notifications
* Provide project specific report updates on subcontractor performance/status
* Identification of risks and provide draft contract notifications for issue to MQS / Commercial Manager
* Assisting in preparation of main contract quotations for notified events

The candidate:

I am looking for high quality candidates who will need to demonstrate the following:

* A Civils/Rail Main Contracting Background
* Knowledge of NEC/NR Forms of Contract and subcontracts
* Major Project Experience
