The Organisation:

Our client an established market leader in the design, manufacture and supply of subsea protection systems for the Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy industry have an opportunity for a QHSE Manager to join their team. They focus on all areas of products including concept feed and R&D, detailed design and engineering, manufacture and testing, project management, client training and offshore installation support. Their dynamic and fast paced culture has ensured their market leading position and highly renowned brand.

The Role:

The QHSE Manager will be responsible for leading all QHSE functions within the business and will deliver 'world-class’ Quality and Safety performance in a culture of continuous improvement whilst working closely with Production, Projects, Engineering, Sales Teams.

  • Provide leadership on all QHSE matters for the company.

  • Ensure effective and robust QHSE management of all activities and those of contractors working on client’s sites.

  • Manage and mentor existing QHSE team including all necessary training requirements.

  • Maintain and continuously improve the company’s QHSE Management systems.

  • Ensure business compliance to all statutory regulations across functions, facilities and assets.

  • Maintain and evolve ISO accreditations including; 18001, 14001 and 9001.

  • Lead internal and client audits and other regulatory authority requirements.

  • Promote a strong H&S culture throughout the business

  • Represent QHSE reporting to Executive Management team and ensure they are routinely informed of developments to QHSE legislation.

  • Lead the QHSE Team to cover full life cycle - Sales, projects, production, testing, and dispatch.

  • Robust QHSE management of existing supply chain for goods and services and the development of new supply chain options.

  • Implement and be accountable for all process maps and writing standard operating procedures for all internal business activities.

  • Management of the internal policies and establishment of an internal Intranet system for all employees.

  • Evolvement on review QHSE documentation and processes relating to client projects

  • Continuous improvement champion to all business functions.

  • Represent QHSE reporting to Executive Management team and ensure they are routinely informed of developments to QHSE legislation.

  • Lead the QHSE Team to cover full life cycle - Sales, projects, production, testing, dispatch.

  • Degree qualified in a related discipline or HND with relevant experience.

  • Experience in a similar role/industry.

  • NEEBOSH qualified.

  • ISO Auditor qualified.
