Care Manager – Maternity Cover 9 months – 1 year

St John’s is a specialist school and college offering high quality education and care for young people aged 7-22 with a wide range of special educational needs.

We are currently recruiting a Care Manager to manage two of our residential homes on a maternity contract.

The Care Manager shall be responsible for the following:

- To act as the ‘Registered Manager’ within the meaning of Essential Standards of Quality and Safety.
- To act as direct line manager for the Team Leaders.
- As a member of the care management team, to take responsibility for the development of the adult residential provision.
- To be an effective member of the care management team in developing operational policy, service procedures and good practice.

Hours:

40 hours per week as per rota
52 weeks including weekends and bank holidays
40 days annual leave per annum including bank holidays

Base: St. John’s School & College (Brighton)

Salary: St. John’s Grade 3 (£29,139 - £35,433)

Qualification Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services or equivalent
