Profile:

We are seeking a creative, experienced, dynamic and confident Marketing & Communications Executive to assist in the development, management and improvement of the content marketing strategy, for both external and internal audiences and to support the team in the delivery of the marketing plan.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be required to create and deliver across all aspects of the marketing mix and PR programmes with clear responsibility for PR communications undertaking all aspects of creation and delivery of content marketing; social, digital and printed media communications; E-marketing; and media relations.

Experienced in working within a creatively focussed Marketing role, you will be adept at interpreting a brief with creative flair in line with brand and market positioning.

This challenging role requires a self-motivated team player, with a can-do attitude, who works well in an extremely busy environment. Candidates should be articulate, creative and possess excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and be confident in working with a variety of stakeholders.

Outline of Responsibilities (non-exhaustive): Development of the content marketing strategy. This will include the research, writing, updating and editing of company brochures, product information, guides, technical comments, external communications and website.

Work with the marketing manager and internal specialist staff to lead, create, manage and deliver multi-channel marketing and PR programmes to match the company business plan focuses through editorials, news articles, technical bulletins, blogs, social media posts, advertising, e-marketing copy and campaigns, stakeholder content and press releases.

Proactively develop media relations for both established and introduced target markets with editorial contacts, feature writers, sub-editors and professional bodies and organisations in print and online.

Develop, update and maintain all areas of the company website and to work with appointed agencies to maximise SEO, improve industry usage and enhance conversion rates of registered users.

Develop and deliver an internal communications plan and help to create effective channels which engage internal stakeholders.

Deliver creative elements of the internal marketing requirements including layout and design of materials, compilation of video footage, manipulation of image files, e-campaign collateral, PowerPoint presentations and animations, and creation of designed templates for others to utilise.

MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS EXECUTIVE - JOB SPECIFICATION

Assist in the delivery of design briefs to creative designers and providers and to work closely with them to maintain the corporate brand to deliver of all forms of marketing collateral and technical materials.

Assist in the development of content for training seminars, videos and other multi-media activities.

Update relevant marketing information on the company 'intranet' & resources libraries with items such as case studies, images, press releases, editorials etc.

Provide support to the wider Marketing team with general marketing tasks.

Qualifications and experience: A minimum of 3-4 years of PR and marketing experience, educated to degree level or equivalent with a demonstrable record of effective marketing content writing in product or service marketing. Proven experience of developing, maintaining and delivering content writing for multi-channel campaigns, social media for business, and E-marketing. Track record in gaining press coverage in local and trade media through timely and effective press releases. Sound understanding of good SEO practice for website and online content and campaigns. Understanding and appreciation of visual creativity and design and have a perception of using the Adobe suite of programs with good working knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat etc. Experience of internal communication content and content planning. Commercial focus and analytical mind. Excellent attention to detail, writing, proof reading and editing skills. Construction industry experience preferable though not essential
