Product Manager (Travel): An experienced Product Manager (Travel) is required to be responsible for the design, preparation and implementation of all tour elements and components for this leading provider of high quality vacation experiences to Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales.

The Product Manager will oversee all matters relating to product enhancements and tour feedback from guests and internal staff for a select group of assigned tours and / or regions.

Reporting to the VP of Product, the Product Manager will work with direction from the Marketing and Product teams to meet specific brand goals.

As Product Manager, you will be keen to develop an excellent understanding of the company's brand, ensuring the tours you work on maintain the company's excellent reputation for giving travellers an unforgettable tour experience.


*Contribute to the research, design, development, maintenance, enhancement, organisation, communication and budgeting / costing of changes to current and new products.
*Oversee and facilitate the general maintenance of each assigned tour including frequent correspondence and follow-up with hotels and suppliers.
*Manage creation, maintenance and execution of budgets for each of the assigned tours.
*Ensure the best value for guests by identifying alternative opportunities and creating bids for suppliers
*Oversee and facilitate assigned supplier contracts and reservation requirements, system updates, production, review, distribution and supplier fulfilment for assigned products / region including initial requests and any subsequent changes
*Work with Operation Services and Driver Guide Operations teams to maintain awareness and understanding of Driver / Guide functionality, assignments, budgeting and overall operational needs
*Maintain supplier relations through negotiations, routine activities, supplier visitations and industry events

Skills and experience:

*Degree in a business discipline and / or equivalent related applicable experience
*Proven successful managerial experience in the travel and / or hospitality industries
*Customer focused, able to respond to questions and issues in a timely manner
*Able to travel to various tour destinations 70-90% per year with flexibility to adapt to schedule changes, if necessary
*Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
*Able to provide creative solutions that translate concepts and product information into compelling and effective selling materials whilst incorporating feedback from various stakeholders
*Excellent oral and written communications skills
*Working knowledge of SOFTRIP operating platform (desirable)
