Salary: £32,198 - £35,189 pa FTE
Location: London N1
Hours: Part Time 2 - 3 days a week

Our client, a national charity, founded over 47 years ago provide a wide range of support services to disabled children, young people and their families. They support children with any disability or impairment from birth to 25 years of age. They offer their support to the whole family with the aim of giving disabled children a brighter future. They help more than 11,000 children each year, but they know there’s much more to do and they need to raise more voluntary income.
The organisation is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Events Manager to join their busy and dynamic team in London as a maternity cover. You will be responsible for and manage the events portfolio which includes Special Events and Challenge Events to generate funding for their innovative and life-changing projects across the country.
You will be responsible for developing relationships with key external supporters and event committee members. You will have excellent organisational, administrative and communication skills, and the ability to prioritise your workload and meet tight deadlines.
You will also be responsible for two direct reports, the Events Officer and the Fundraising Administrator.
The charity aims to double its voluntary income over the next four years, and this is an exciting time to join an expanding fundraising team and have a real impact on their work. Events income will play a pivotal part in achieving their goal, and you will be responsible for organising high quality events that generate income towards vital services.
