Area Sales Manager - Agricultural Machinery - South West England
£40,000 Basic, + Bonus + Car + Phone + Pension

The Company
My client is a world leading manufacturer of Telescopic Handlers and Forklift trucks. They specialise in the manufacture and sale of a vast range of telehandlers and also bucket attachments. Key markets they serve include Construction, Warehouse, Industrial and Agricultural. Due to the recent success of the company, they are now looking to expand the business and into further markets and increase their turnover by 30% in just 5 years to £130M in the UK alone. In order to do this they are increasing their sales team and now looking for a new Area Sales Manager to join their team and manage the South West and Wales region. They are a company who like to promote from within and there are always progression opportunities for employees who have a proven track record of delivering results.

The Role
As an Area Sales Manager for the South West and Wales region, you will be responsible for developing sales through selling to plant hire dealerships. This will involve spending 5 days of the week meeting with clients and promoting company products. With an established account base already in place your role will be to develop sales through dealing with company buyers of key clients. You will report in to the Sales Director and be responsible for developing sales in your region year on year.

The Candidate
Ideally you will experienced in wholesale to dealerships and also have knowledge of the agricultural market. You will manage your own region which goes as far north as Birmingham, South West England and South Wales. As this is such a big region, you may need to stay away from home. You must also have experience in the following:
