Key Accounts Advisor(Corporate)

Fixed Term Contract until December 2017

Based in Kings Cross, London, N1C 4AG

Salary up to a max of £20,000 per annum (Depending on experience)

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Key Accounts Advisor within the Public Performance Sales Department at PRS for Music. The main purpose of the role is to manage and support a portfolio of corporate customer accounts whilst delivering a quality service to both internal and external customers. Using your excellent customer service skills, your knowledge of PRS for Music and the background to copyright licensing tariffs, policies, distribution and procedures will assist you in your daily responsibilities.

The role will involve calculating and issuing licences to new customers, agreeing payment terms and ensuring that new account details are processed fully, accurately and efficiently, and to effectively sell the benefits of the PRS for Music Repertoire therefore the successful candidate will be driven and confident when using the phone. The candidate will be required to meet with customers when the need arises, in order to sort out any issues relating to their account. They will contribute to team development and knowledge transfer in respect of less experienced staff.

They will also liaise with other areas across the organisation, including Membership, International, Music Services Area and Distribution, to make sure that our members receive accurate distributions when their music is made in a UK public performance. You will need to develop positive relationships (in person) with customers to support ongoing forecasting as well as to promote the value of PRS for Music. Therefore excellent communication skills (via phone, letter, face-to-face & email) and experience of working with both internal and external customers to achieve goals are essential.

The successful candidate will have at least two years’ experience of working in a target driven, busy office environment with good PC Skills and be able to use Microsoft Word and Excel to a high standard. It would be beneficial if the candidate was to have basic knowledge of other organisations performing similar functions and knowledge of distribution principles and how they impact on licensees.
