Job duties and responsibilities:

* The successful applicant will be required to sell both funded and commercial training courses to individuals currently employed, with particular focus on Levy paying clients
* To work closely with the Lead Generation Team; following up on appointments generated and securing their interest
* This role involves a mixture of both telephone and face to face sales techniques and account management
* Warm and cold calling to offer our core provision
* Employer consultations and presentations
* Creating and undertaking meetings with prospective employers
* Formulating employer requirements into active employment opportunities
* Upselling qualifications to companies who have existing employees

The successful candidate will have the following skills:

* Recent Business Development and Sales experience within the WBL & Training industry
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills
* Outstanding interpersonal skills with a record of influencing and motivating others
* A confident communicator with the ability to deal with potential employers, key decision makers and wider members of the public
* Solid experience in working in a target driven sales environment
* Competent in Maths & English (GSCE Grade C or above) and IT Proficient
* Outstanding interpersonal skills with a record of influencing and motivating others
* Experienced in building and maintaining a sales pipeline
* Full UK driving licence and use of own car
