Marketing Manager - Commercial Products
£50 - £60k per annum plus car/car allowance, pension, health care and annual bonus
Location: Middlesex, West London (with some travel within UK and occasionally within Europe).

Our client is a global market leader in the automotive space, employing over 200,000 people globally and operating in over 50 different countries. They are currently seeking a Marketing Manager for their commercial vehicle products, to lead a successful marketing team to deliver strategic sales and marketing objectives in the UK and Ireland.
About the role:
-Formulating the marketing strategy for the commercial vehicle business unit and leading the team to meet agreed business objectives and goals. Working closely with the marketing director to determine sales and marketing strategy and implement this through customer facing sales and marketing team members.
-Working closely with the EMEA marketing team to create and deliver marketing communications, product and pricing strategies.
-Establishing clear propositions to be marketed in UK and Ireland in line with central brand identities, pricing and distribution guidelines.
-Overseeing the marketing department on a daily basis and being accountable to the Sales and Marketing Director for its performance.
-Responsibility for training, development and motivation of marketing team members.
-Planning, managing and controlling all marketing investment and monitoring ROI across all channels, brands and key clients.
-Drive annual planning and business management cycle for each business unit.
-Maintaining and delivering an ongoing 5 year marketing strategy.
-Leveraging appropriate market research and analysis tools to measure trends and drive business direction.
-Contribution to over strategy, performance and profitability of the business unit and wider business.
-Representing the UK and Ireland in EMEA level decision forums across marketing, price, e-business and product.
-Working closely with finance, IT and supply chain management to ensure compatibility with marketing plans and business processes, plans and requirements.
Skills and experience required:
-Approximately 10 years' experience in marketing, with 3-5 years' experience at team management level.
-Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent.
-B2B marketing experience preferred.
-Knowledge of business intelligence processes and data visualisation systems is desirable.
-Able to achieve objectives through collaborating with others.
-Ability to lead and motivate high performing teams.
-Strong communication and presentation skills.
-Able to work under pressure.
-Experienced in stakeholder liaison at all levels of a company.
