We are looking for an MIS Manager who has a strong track record and experience working with multi-disciplined government funded training provisions. This position is to cover maternity leave so is potentially 6-12 months.

You will be responsible for the promoting the highest data integrity and compliance across the business to support the operational management.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Responsible for the MIS department, promoting a smooth implementation of a management and information system.
Maintain expert knowledge regarding the use and storage of learner and ILR data, particularly in relation to the Learner Management System, SFA and EFA funding system
Operate a cycle of continuous improvement identifying and implementing efficiencies that improve business workflow, which includes the management and development of learner enrolment forms.
Lead on the production and submission of compliant ILRs and data submission on a monthly basis to maximise funding claims.
Responsible for ensuring data integrity and compliance in relation to both backend and PFA audit compliance.
Accurate reporting to senior management and directors.
Manage day to day operational responsibilities of the including processing start and leaver paperwork as well as exam registration systems and processes.
Support in the use of Smart Assessor, which has been implemented
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Significant MIS management experience working closely with apprenticeships.
Knowledge of all SFA and apprenticeship funding rules.
SFA claims process experience.
Understanding and experience of PFA Audit.
Extensive experience and knowledge of MIS within education, including management of learner information.
Excellent IT skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to produce high level reports.
Strong understanding or accountancy and excellent numeracy skills.
Knowledge of Achievement Rate Methodology and SQL reporting desirable
