As a result, we are on the lookout for a talented Luxury Tailor Made Travel Consultant to join our highly successful, growing team.

The successful applicant will play a key role in the growth of our overseas department through the sale of luxury spa holidays. With over 200 exclusive venues around the world this is amazing opportunity for an experienced luxury travel consultant to become an international Spa Specialist.

Spabreaks.com is a fast-paced and driven environment and the successful candidate will work as part of a highly collaborative team liaising between clients and international venues to book all elements of a customer’s vacation.

Role to include, but not limited to:

You will be working as a travel consultant in a fast paced and challenging role liaising between clients and international venues, via email and phone, to book every aspect of the customers tailor made Spa holiday.

  • To work closely with clients to put together tailor-made international Spa breaks based on their wants and needs. This will include the booking of hotels, spa treatments, flights, ancillary travel arrangements, tours and more.

  • To facilitate smooth and effective communication with the various reservations departments at specific overseas venues in order to check availability, discuss treatment time availability and any special requirements for the customer, whilst maintaining the professional relationship that Spabreaks.com is renowned for

  • You will be working with pre-agreed contracts with over 200 venues around the world and will be required to use this data to put together accurate pricing taking into account exchange rates and other variables.

  • Working closely with the in-house flight operations team and various other departments to ensure the smooth booking of all aspects of customers travel arrangements.

  • To act in a professional and efficient manner to phone and email enquiries

  • To follow up with customers, venues and other third parties to close sales and take payment

  • To identify potential new business from old leads

  • Use initiative to up-sell and cross-sell other products to the customer

  • To maintain a high level of product knowledge at all times through ongoing training, daily use of the Spabreaks.com website, and your own independent research

  • Consistently working to achieve individual and team targets / KPI’s

  • Other additional administration duties as required

Required Experience

  • A minimum of 1-2 years experience of working in a tailor made travel consultant role

  • Great sales and customer service skills

  • Must have a good head for numbers and contracts (exchange rate calculations, pricing etc)

  • A team player, able to work collaboratively with your own department, with the ability to also communicate with different departments and venues effectively

  • Carry effective organisational skills and possess the ability to multi-task

  • Proven ability to work under pressure

  • Dedicated and determined in achieving set targets / KPI’s consistently
