A well established company based in Manchester City Centre looking for an accounts assistant who has strong experience in all areas of accounts. This role is ideal for someone who is wanting to broaden their knowledge in accounts and progress quickly. The office is modern and lively offering the opportunity to work in a large finance team and report directly the financial director.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Purchase Ledger - processing of invoices and dealing with discrepancies
Credit Control - working from an Aged Debt Report
Sales Ledger - raising invoices and cash allocation
Bank Reconciliations
Statement Reconciliations
Daily update of the Cash Book
Posting of journals
Month and Year End reporting
Maintain a flow of billings in line with agreed targets
Liaising with partners and internal departments
Ad Hoc Finance work
The Successful Candidate:

Must have experience working in an accounts assistant
Excellent experience in purchase ledger, sales ledger, bank reconciliations, expenses
Good excel skills
