Field Sales Executive - Dispensing Doctor Membership (Account Management / Business Development)
Glasgow / Edinburgh - Field Based covering Central Belt of Scotland.
£25,000 - £30,000 basic + OTE bonus + company car

Our pharmacy client has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Graduate or pharmaceuticals / Medical Sales Professional to join and strengthen their existing sales team for the challenges ahead in the changing pharmaceutical wholesale market.

You will be responsible for both member and non-member dispensing doctor accounts within your territory. Developing new business opportunities, you will deliver benefits to their members by regular customer contact as well as managing the wholesale turnover generated by the practice's.

We are looking for either a recent Graduate with a science related degree or an experienced sales / account management / business development professional within the pharmaceuticals or related medical / healthcare industry.

Knowledge of Dispensing Doctor Sales and of the wider GP and NHS market would be advantageous however this is not essential.

You will either have an ABPI (Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry) qualification or be prepared to study for and gain the qualification according to ABPI guidelines. You will be joining a highly motivated team so you should be able to demonstrate good communication, time management and organisational skills.

For a Graduate with a relevant degree in a scientific subject, we offer £27,000 basic with an increase of £3,000 on completion of the APBI certificate plus an OTE bonus of £10,000 and Company Car.
For a more experienced sales professional already holding the ABPI qualification, we offer a basic of £32,000 plus an OTE bonus of £10,000 and Company Car.

The hours of work are 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 9.00 - 5.15; however the successful applicant will need a flexible approach to working hours as this role will involve extensive travel throughout the region. You must hold a full UK drivers license
