Sellick Partnership has been engaged to recruit a permanent Sales Ledger Clerk to work within a growing and fast paced organisation based in Salford.

The purpose of the role is to process Customer Billing, Cash & Bank transactions and carry out other related and support activities in order to operate and maintain the

The key responsibilities for a Sales Ledger Clerk:

* To process invoices and credit notes as detailed for all divisions
* To set up, amend and terminate contracts as detailed
* To update information on accounts as supplied
* General office duties and dealing with post and queries
* To process monthly automatic invoices
* To process bank statements and other ad-hoc payment transactions
* To reconcile bank and other related balance sheet accounts
* To maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance
* Any other tasks deemed necessary by the Finance Manager
* To support other teams in completing their work to the required timescales on an ad-hoc basis
* To carry out any other ad-hoc duties, as and when required

The key requirements for a Sales Ledger Clerk:

* Experience of Sales Ledger is essential for this role
* Experience in a similar role within an office environment
* Experience within a multi-currency would be advantageous
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Ability to work to tight deadlines
* Good level of IT skills including MS Office; use of JD Edwards would be desirable
* Good level of Numeracy
* A high level of attention to detail
* A high level of focus on the achievement of targeted results
* A high level of flexibility and a positive attitude to innovation and change
