International Liaison Manager
I Am Recruiting for an International Liaison Manager for a leading professional association with global operations in the higher education sector. This is a permanent role based in Central London.
Our client is looking for an experienced people manager to lead a team of eight. This will include monitoring performance, managing workloads, training and development of staff. In addition to being a leader, the successful candidate will have vital relationship management duties with the organisation’s partners that are based all around the world (although this will not entail international travel).
Another intriguing aspect to this diverse role will be the incumbent’s participation with certain international policy decisions the organisation must make. Due to this and other facets of the role, there will be regular cross-departmental communication with senior staff, as well as lots of support from various senior managers. The role will also hold a number of administrative duties revolved around international students.
To be successful with an application, you must have a good amount of experience of managing and leading a team. Relationship management or customer service experience, working with clients, is also vital. Although a background within higher education is ideal, it is not essential. Previous international experience, or working for a multi-national organisation, is desirable - whilst familiarity within a policy setting background is important.
We look forward to receiving your application for what is an enticing role within a prestigious international organisation!
