We currently have an amazing opportunity for a technical lead with experience in a high performance, low latency and multithreaded environment to join a global leading mobile securities company. You will be working across multiple Greenfield projects as this company look to expand their current application offering. As a Java Technical Lead you will still be working "hands on" development however part of your role will be looking at the architecture of their current application and designing new functionality to ensure that continues to be a market leader. In addition you will be the technical authority of a team of up to 5 developers, having oversight on their work and taking on the more challenging technical challenges. This is a great opportunity to hone your technical skills while also having the opportunity to have technical oversight of entire projects.

They have developed a 3 core applications that all provide for the one goal of insuring that the data they are sending and receiving is completely secure and free of the risk of fraud or hacking. Their products enable their customers the piece if mind to ensure that their work devices are secure and risk free.

There are a number of technical requirements for this role. The right technical lead will have experience working in a high performance environment, where you will have extensive experience with multithreading and garbage collection. You will have experience with working with Java 7 or Java 8, working on REST web services and unit testing using jUnit. In addition you will have mentored at least a team of three developers and also have been involved in some capacity in a recruitment process. Having working in a SOA or microservices environment will be great but not essential. You don't have to have been a tech lead previously but as long as you can demonstrated that you the required experience you will be considered for the role.
