Technical Workshop Engineer (Tier 2)

Key Responsibilities:

• Thorough working knowledge of and ability to assemble configure and install major brand server hardware
• Ability to investigate, diagnose and troubleshoot a wide variety of problems, with network and computer hardware
• Provide a point of escalation for then field service team in responding to and resolving support calls along with agreed SLA
• Working knowledge to configure and install network hardware
• Working knowledge of recent and current versions of Microsoft Windows operating systems Use standard tools to deploy PC and server software builds from system images

Essential Skills:

Microsoft - Windows desktop and server installation and configuration experience
HPe / Dell hardware maintenance experience
TCP/IP networking (understanding of principles, well-known ports, basic routing and switching)

Desired Skills:

• Cisco CCENT or CCNA
