Newcastle Strategic Solutions is part of the Newcastle Building Society Group and is dedicated to the provision of outsourcing for financial services.

Role Summary

As a Customer Service Advisor you will be responsible for providing our customers with first class customer care and guidance, dealing with, and processing a range of customer queries regarding savings accounts.

Our ethos in the Customer Service Centre is putting our customers first and getting things right first time.

In the role of Customer Service Advisor you will be handling unscripted calls from customers, answering queries and solving problems. Queries may be in relation to the savings products customers hold either with us or our numerous clients who we handle the management of savings on behalf of.

You’ll balance this with completing a variety of interesting administration tasks you will have been allocated for the day. Working between these two elements offers a challenging but rewarding environment and also means no day is the same.

Skills and Experience

The experience and ability to confidently assist our customers on the telephone is ideal, although this need not be from a contact centre environment.

You will also correspond with our customers via e-mail and letter, therefore excellent data entry and written communications skills are essential. You will have a positive, can do attitude and the desire to provide excellent customer service.
