Our client, based in the Warrington area, require a Health & Safety Manager on a permanent basis paying between £40,000 per annum.

The position will be on days working from 8:30-5pm.

They are looking for a dynamic individual who has a strong Health & Safety background & with manufacturing experience.

The client are looking for;

Specific Qualifications required:

- Educated to degree level with a Health & Safety qualification. Degree to be in a technical discipline, ideally chemical or engineering.
- NEBOSH or IOSH also required.

Experience/Skills required:

- Preferred experience in managing ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
- Qualified Auditor.
- HSE and Environmental Legislation and its practical application to Manufacturing.
- NEBOSH/IOSH Membership.
- Good presentation skills.
- A high level of safety awareness.
- The ability to demonstrate a good level of negotiation and communication skills, both internally and externally.
-Experience in root cause investigation, HSE Management systems and Auditing.
-Evidence of working towards objectives and achieving goals.
