Accounts Assistant full time or part time.
A superb opportunity for a bright, enthusiastic Accounts Assistant / Administrator to join our team here at Futures. We are a fast growing recruitment company based in Horsforth providing complete interim and permanent recruitment solutions within the public and private sectors. Due to the companys continuing growth, Futures are looking for an Accounts Assistant / Administrator to join the Finance Department on a Full Time or Part Time permanent basis.
The role
You will be working in a small team alongside the Office Manager supporting all finance, accounts and administration functions within the Group, including Payroll, Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and Credit control.
A large part of the role will involve using various online systems to obtain, collate and input timesheets / invoices in order to pay our interim consultants.
You will liaise via telephone and email with clients, interims and staff to ensure timely submission of timesheets and invoices. You will be using a variety of programs and systems, including Sage Payroll and Sage 50 to follow Sales and Purchase Ledger Processes to completion. This particular part of the role is very structured, often fast paced with exacting procedures and firm deadlines to adhere to.
The remainder of your time will be spent assisting the Office Manager with various other accounts, administration and finance duties including:
Cash allocation onto the Sales Ledger
Purchase Ledger
Sales Ledger
Credit Control
General administrative duties and resolving account queries.

The right candidate will be a good communicator with excellent written and verbal skills, be methodical and organised in their approach and have strong maths skills. An ability and willingness to learn new skills is essential.
This role will suit someone with experience in Sage50 accounts / sage payroll / purchase ledger / sales ledger / accounts administration / finance administration / payroll
