Pharmaceutical Process Engineer - Liverpool


This is a brand new opportunity that has been created due to expansion. Are you currently working as a Process Engineer within the pharmaceutical or related industry? Does your experience include CP, CPK, SPC & Six sigma processes? Want to work for global leaders? If yes then please read on.

Your role as a Pharmaceutical Process Engineer based in Liverpool will involve working to relevant EHS / GMP / GDP / company and corporate policies and external regulatory where you will priorities, organise and design out capital investment projects, process improvement projects and provide hands on support for the manufacturing equipment.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Effectively identify and proactively resolve complex technical issues by direct intervention and correction promptly.
  • Introduced new plant and equipment from concept through installation, commissioning, validation and handover.
  • Understand mechanical systems, PLC controls / programming, low-voltage controls, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and database systems.
  • Identifying projects based on OEE performance and also to monitor the process improvement through OEE.

This is a full time permanent role with a great salary paying between £30,000 - £35,000 per annum and excellent benefits including Life insurance, Pension, and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays on top and much more.

  • Experience of carrying out the above duties ideally within the pharmaceutical or related scientific industry.
  • Engineering related degree.
  • Understanding of complex batch processes.
  • Understanding of P&IDs.
  • CAD proficient (preferred).
  • Exceptional Excel skills.
