PR Associate - Professional Services (Must be fluent in Italian)
Permanent £40,000 to £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Central London

Career Moves are working with a well stablished professional services PR agency in Central London to source a PR Associate to work predominantly on oil, gas, energy and utilities clients. The successful candidate will work within this team and across the wider business. Our client offers a dynamic working environment with plenty of opportunities for career development. The successful candidate will be fluent in both English and Italian.

Responsibilities;

  • Devising and implementing financial communications strategies and programmes.
  • Developing messaging materials for financial communications collaterals (key messages, proposals, presentations, scripts, press releases, Q&A etc.)
  • Editing and translation of financial communications materials between Italian and English
  • Research, news monitoring, press analysis and summaries
  • Submitting press releases to RNS, in partnership with the team assistant
  • Forging productive relationships with clients, press and investment analysts
  • Account Management duties - anchoring relevant relationships providing counsel and support with relevant market and industry context
  • Media relations - understanding of the broad media landscape; pitching stories and responding to in- coming calls
  • Buy and sell-side perception studies
  • New business
  • Research for current clients and new business opportunities
  • Developing and shaping content; presenting at pitches

Requirements;

  • 4 years of relevant industry experience i.e. in Public Relations, Media, Law or Finance/Banking
  • Bachelor's level degree or MBA or equivalent
  • Demonstrable interest and understanding of business environment and current affairs, including awareness of the developments in and opportunities around digital and social media
  • Good understanding of how the City and the broader financial community operates
  • Able to build strong relationships; commands the confidence of others internally & externally
  • Hard working, flexible, adaptable and proactive
