SALES ACCOUNT DIRECTOR (ENTERPRISE/B2B)

THE COMPANY:
A Global Unified Communications Carrier and Business Solutions provider that offers a comprehensive range of wireline and wireless communications B2B services.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Purpose:
This is a relationship management focused position responsible for obtaining new wireline business and renewing existing business through prospecting and leads management on an assigned list or on a regional/country specific basis of International accounts, typically medium to large global MNCs.

Duties:
You will:
· Sell, service, and grow assigned base of customers working closely with global account teams (US and worldwide) in a relationship management capacity to meet appropriate quota tier levels as defined by the compensation plan.
· Develop solutions that meet the needs of customer requirements and work with internal support organizations to complete the solutions and quotes.
· Partner with account managers in the US and worldwide where appropriate to develop account strategy and close business.
· Use the account and opportunity planning processes to develop strategies to identify and close opportunities where appropriate.
· Develop and maintain relationships with the Company’s support organizations.
· Give in-country presentations to customers in order to promote the Company and bring regional understanding to the solutions that are being proposed. The position is also tasked with developing relationships with all levels across customers’ subsidiaries to promote the Company’s business solutions.

Sales Focus:
In depth understanding of the Company’s and competitors’ portfolio of solutions, specialized products and services; focus on global solutions including IP/MPLS WAN services, SD WAN services, voice/SIP services, unified communication solutions, cloud solutions, converged mobility solutions and managed & security services.

Sales Territory:
The role is focussed on International sales, EMEA region, defined target market list and country specific regional customers

Office Location:
The UK Company offices are City of London based but the Sales Account Director will be home office, remote working located with visits to the London office and client office locations as required to carry out the job role.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

Professional Knowledge Required:
· 3+ years’ successful selling experience in a Business to Business environment
· College degree and/or relevant experience
· 3+ years’ of International experience
· Success selling in activity driven sales environment
· 5+ years’ of telecom experience
· Proven track record of new customer acquisition experience
· Must be able to work with client to understand their business processes, quickly identify inefficiencies, and then clearly articulate how a defined solution solves business requirements
· Complex contract negotiation skills
· English language

Desirable Experience:
· Proven track record in solutions/applications selling
· Account / Opportunity Planning and Solution selling skills
· Key decision maker selling experience
· International experience
· Demonstrated oral, written, and presentation skills, with proven track of record of engaging customers up to top level
· Working knowledge of SalesForce CRM or similar
· Microsoft Office Suite of Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel & PP)
· Contact management experience
· Time management skills
· Base management (including retention efforts)
· Broad based product knowledge on many key products
· Relationship management skills - Internal & External

REMUNERATION:
It is anticipated that exceptional candidates who meet all of the job requirements will attract a base salary of up to £75k + OTE (base x1.5, but uncapped commission) + 1st class comprehensive benefits package.
